Former Ysgol Plasmawr and Ysgol Glantaf pupil, Theo Cabango, is a homegrown product at the Arms Park. The wing, who helped Cardiff under-18 lift the Age Grade Championship, made an impression when called into the first team for the Heineken Champions Cup double-header in December 2021.
Having shown glimpses of his pace against defending champions Toulouse on his debut, he would score a sensational solo effort away to Harlequins the following week, which would later be named the club’s Try of the Month.
Brother of Swansea and Wales footballer, Ben Cabango, Theo has also earned plaudits for his performances for the Rags in the Welsh Premiership, but missed out on Wales under-20 honours due to injury and the Covid-19 pandemic.
Cabango finished his debut with a string of senior games under his belt, scoring memorable tries against the likes of Scarlets and Glasgow Warriors.
