Scrum half, Ellis Bevan, was identified through the Exiles programme and impressed Cardiff scouts while playing for Cardiff Met.
Having made his mark while training with Cardiff’s first team squad, Bevan penned his first deal with the Blue and Blacks in the 2020/21 season and made a try-scoring senior debut for the club in the Rainbow Cup derby against Ospreys.
Ellis Bevan then played and trained under the tutelage of Cardiff star scrum-halves Lloyd Williams and Tomos Williams, leading to him starting the majority of Cardiff’s games at the tail end of the 23/24 season.
Bevans impressed during his first season playing consistent rugby so much so that he made his Senior Welsh debut against the reigning World Champions, South Africa on July 22nd 2024.
