At Cardiff Rugby we are constantly striving to make improvements. We want to ensure every time you visit the iconic Arms Park or interact with the club, you enjoy an exceptional experience.
The extent we can do this is, of course, shaped by the facilities and resources available but in recent months we have made a number of improvements following feedback from supporters and we will continue to do so!
New retail unit:
We are acutely aware that our existing match-day shop at the Arms Park is too small and does not meet the expectations of supporters. Therefore, working with our partners at Macron and Rapid Retail, we will be installing a new retail unit in the coming weeks. The double container unit will be bespoke for the club and situated behind the family stand.
Bocs Bwyd and other F&B improvements
Supporters have frequently given positive feedback on our street food offering but called for more! This is often difficult to achieve due to fluctuations in crowd size and the need for external vendors to turn in a worthwhile profit.
Therefore, working with our partners at Castell Howell and Morgans Classics & Customs, we have installed Bocs Bwyd to bring supporters our very own street food offerings! We aim to bring fans a wide-range of cuisines through a season and every penny and pound made goes back into the club.
We are still finding our feet and have held soft launches at the Scarlets and Ulster game, if you have any suggestions please feel free to let us know here.
This week we have also welcomed a new outdoor bar, which will be used for the Guinness Fanzone but then moved behind the north stand to enhance our capabilities in that area of the ground.
Following supporter feedback, we are also delighted to confirm 0% products (Guinness and Heineken) are now available at ALL bars on match-days.
The Pack Bar and Courtyard
We have continued to make small improvements to the Pack Bar, which is now a much improved space. This is being reflected by match-day takings and the volume of non-match day bookings for the facility. Thanks to our sponsors PSG Audio Visual, we have recently linked the PA system to a series of all-weather speakers, serving the courtyard area, ensuring anything playing inside the Pack Bar can be heard outside, again enhancing the match-day atmosphere and capabilities.
Double-headers
We have long wanted to host double-headers at the Arms Park and the full alignment with Cardiff RFC in the new SRC has allowed us to do this.
The recent Cardiff v Bridgend, Cardiff v Ulster was a resounding success and saw an increase of more than 20% on average Rags crowd.
We are now looking forward to hosting another double header at the end of the month and tickets are selling fast!

Website
We are aware of the limitations, functionality issues and glitches with our existing website, which is due to our previous suppliers sadly going into administration.
This has been the case for some time and has led to significant challenges - simply put the website is currently not of the standard we deem acceptable. However, we are pleased to confirm work is underway to rectify this and we hope to make announcements very soon. Watch this space!
We hope this email gives you an idea of the work going on behind the scenes to improve your experience at Cardiff Arms Park but should you have any further feedback, you can submit it here. Our Supporter Advisor David Allen is also contactable throughout the season at [email protected]
