Yesterday the stars of Cardiff Blues joined hundreds of junior Blues fans from across the region at the bmibaby Ice Rink for an exclusive ice skating session.
The festive occasion gave junior supporters the chance to meet the stars of Cardiff Blues and enjoy a mornings skating at the centrepiece of the Cardiff Winter Wonderland.
Cardiff Blues Commercial Manager Tina Tew said, The morning skating session was absolutely fantastic and a lovely way for Cardiff Blues fans to end 2004 with the stars of the Blues.
It was not just the ice skating that proved popular, as there were stilt walkers, face painters, balloon modellers and also live demonstrations from the Arms Park crowd favourite, Jos Heatwave, which all came together perfectly for the benefit of the fans.
Councillor Nigel Howells, Executive Member Sport, Leisure and Culture, said:
We are delighted to have introduced this new opportunity for sponsors and partners of Cardiff's Winter Wonderland. It provides a unique opportunity for them to say thank you to staff, business associates and, more importantly in this case, Blues fans, whilst enjoying the facilities of Cardiff's Winter Wonderland as a group.
