Cardiff Blues' Lloyd Williams has been named in the Wales Sevens squad for this weekend's Exeter Sevens tournament.
Exeter Sevens will be a final opportunity for Gareth Williams to assess his options ahead of the Sevens World Cup, which will be held on July 20-22 at San Francisco Giants' stunning AT&T Park.
The scrum half was a regular on the sevens circuit in the early days of his career and would go on to win 28 caps for Wales' senior side in the 15-a-side code.
Williams is joined by Jay Jones in the squad, who is part of the Cardiff Blues pathway system, as the youngster has impressed in recent tournaments.
Former Cardiff Blues players involved include Owen Jenkins, Cory Allen and Ben Roach.
In their pool fixtures on Saturday, Wales take on Portugal (12:36), Germany (14:59) and Spain (18:06): three nations that have proved themselves to be a handful in Rugby Europe (and in Spain's case, the World Series) this season.
Tickets for this weekend's action can be purchased here, while Rugby Europe will live streaming all the games on their website.
