With a sell-out crowd for the New Year’s Eve derby with Scarlets already confirmed, Cardiff Blues are encouraging supporters to arrive early to make the most of the Arms Park atmosphere.
The usual spectator safety and event day security measures will be in place as part of the City-wide joint initiative which can be found here.
Gates open at the Arms Park at 2.15pm but collections from the ticket office will be available from 10am and we encourage supporters to pick up their tickets early to avoid any potential queues.
There will also be an increased police presence at the stadium due to the capacity crowd and part of the #ActionCountersTerrorism campaign.
But there will be plenty going on around the stadium in the build-up to the mouth-watering Guinness PRO14 derby.
There will be music in the fanzone and a DJ behind the north stand, while a number of street food offerings return to our iconic home.
Handlebar Barrista, who will be selling Dillon Lewis and Brad Thyer’s Fat Dragon coffee, Ridiculously Rich, Cham Cham, Pitchside Pizza, Puckin Poutine, Great Eggspectations will all be back alongside the usual Noodle and Burger vans.
We will have the UmpaLumpa sweet stall in the Pack Bar, while the usual player signing will be held in the fanzone, with 15 players in attendance.
Our official water suppliers Prince’s Gate will also be activating at the game, offering free bottles of water to supporters upon entry – so please stay hydrated and enjoy New Year’s Eve responsibly.
