What to expect at CAP this season

It has been a summer of change at Cardiff Arms Park and last-minute preparations are taking place ahead of Cardiff Blues versus Edinburgh on Saturday (5.15pm).

With the senior squad returning to our iconic home as training base, a number of facilities have been transformed since last season.

The Martyn Williams Pack Bar and the club shop have been changed into a gym to facilitate the players’ training requirements. However, a new shop has been built and will open for the first time on Saturday, located at the back of the Family Stand.

While the Pack Bar has not been replaced, significant time and resource has been invested into the former Heineken Fanzone. Phase One of the new Fanzone has been completed, featuring a brand-new bar, large television screens, speakers and interactive activities, with further additions to be unveiled in the weeks ahead.

To celebrate the revamped Fanzone, we are offering a free pie to the first 50 people who purchase a pint.

All new this season is the Kids Zone. During the summer we invested in some brand-new inflatables. These will now be based at the front of the clubhouse, where there will also be a tuck shop and face painting.

With a large walk up crowd anticipated on Saturday evening, all supporters are advised to arrive early, while those collecting tickets can do so from 9.30am on Friday morning. The ticket office will remain open for collections until 8pm.

On Saturday collections will be available from 10am until kick-off, however if you have purchased tickets for the south stand or terrace, your tickets will be transferred for collection from Quay Street at 3.15pm.

Tickets for the encounter can be secured by calling 029 20 302030 or by clicking here!
