Over 100 kids gathered to show off their skills in the Blues primary school tag competition held at the Sobel Leisure Centre.
Eleven schools attended including a mixture of both boys and girls. Co-ordinator Ben Rose (Cardiff Blues u.11 D.O) agreed there was a very high standard of play and complimented the enthusiasm of the children and the their teachers.
Tag is becoming ever present in our development offering basic skills to progress both girls and boys in whatever activity they pursue. It is safe and adopts team ethic which will hold all the kids in good stead for the future.
To commemorate the day, local rugby hero Rhys Shellard and Cardiff Blue teammate Daffyd Hewitt posed with the children in a group photo.
Schools attending included: OAKLANDS, PERTHCELYN, BLAENGWAWR, CAEGARW, CARADOG, MISKIN, OUR LADYS, PENGEULAN, GLENBOI, YNYSBOETH and PENYWAUN.
