Cardiff Blues' chief executive Robert Norster has made a statement on so far unconfirmed reports of a citing by Leinster Lions of a Cardiff Blues player following the Heineken Cup match on 12 December.
Mr Norster said:
"Although we have yet to receive official ERC notification of a citing by Leinster Lions of Cardiff Blues' player Dan Baugh, I, together with the team's coaching and management staff, have reviewed the alleged incident on video.
"We unanimously agree that Leinster's citing of the Blues' player is unwarranted.
"We will vigorously contest the matter at any formal hearing that may result."
