Robert Norster, Chief Executive of Cardiff Rugby Football Club Ltd., has issued a statement concerning the position of team manager, Derwyn Jones.
Mr Norster said,
"In response to earlier reports that our current team manager, Derwyn Jones, has resigned his position I can confirm that he was today suspended from his role pending further internal investigations into possible breaches of contract.
"The company naturally wishes to follow due process and consequently can say nothing further on what are now legal matters."
