Cardiff Blues are helping to raise awareness and funds for Velindre Cancer Centre.
Cardiff Blues Skipper Matthew Rees is currently undergoing treatment at the Velindre Cancer Centre and to show our support the Blues are now selling ‘Smile for Our Captain’ wristbands.
Velindre Cancer Centre is the largest non – surgical cancer Hospital in Wales providing Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy and other specialised anti – cancer treatments for over half the people of Wales.
They have been providing support and care to cancer patients in South Wales for over 50 years. On average every year Velindre Cancer Centre provides care, treatment and support for over 130,000 out patients and day cases.
The wristbands are priced at £1.50 and supporters can purchase their wristbands from the following places:
Cardiff Arms Park shop and reception, WRU Store, Shop Rugby, Rugby Heaven, The Red Lion at Pendoylan and the Vale Hotel.
