Head coach Matt Sherratt has made eight changes to the starting XV for Cardiff’s home pre-season friendly against Bath Rugby tomorrow night (7.15 KO).
Following last week’s match against Ealing Trailfinders, Sherratt has added experience to the side and integrated several of the Club’s Wales internationals.
There are four changes in the pack, with props Corey Domachowski and Keiron Assiratti coming in to accompany captain Liam Belcher in the front row.
Josh McNally and Teddy Williams continue their second row partnership, while James Botham comes into the back row to partner Dan Thomas, with Mackenzie Martin stepping up from the bench to play eight.
A further four changes come in the backs with new signing Aled Davies to partner Tinus de Beer. After Rory Jennings picked up a foot injury last week, Sherratt has opted for Mason Grady at inside centre where he will play alongside Harri Millard.
Iwan Stephens and Gabriel Hamer-Webb continue on the wings and will combine with Cam Winnett who is selected at full-back.
Matt Sherrat, said: "It's always exciting to be back at the Arms Park, and for our first home game of the season, there's an extra buzz around the squad.
“Last week against Ealing was a good run out for the players, and this is another opportunity to find our match sharpness and work on our cohesiveness ahead of Zebre Parma in two weeks.
“We've made a few changes, bringing in some experience and a few of our Wales internationals to the starting line-up, which adds a lot of quality.
“Playing in front of our home crowd is something special, and we're looking forward to a strong performance against Bath in what should be a great contest."
The Blue and Blacks will utilise rolling replacements with 12 players named on the bench including new signing Ed Byrne who could make his debut for the Club.
