Seven Cardiff Blues players in Wales squad to face Japan

Lloyd Williams and Gareth Anscombe will start at half-back, as seven Cardiff Blues players have been named in the Wales match-day squad to face Japan on Saturday. (K.O 2.30pm)

Sam Warburton has been restored as captain, having made his return in a Wales jersey during last week’s victory over Argentina.

Scrum-half Williams and outside-half Anscombe are set to make their first appearances of the autumn test series, after being named in the starting line-up.

Alex Cuthbert is also recalled into the starting line-up to face the Cherry Blossoms, having also featured in the opening match against Australia.

Front-row trio Kristian Dacey, Rhys Gill and Scott Andrews are all named on the replacements bench.
