The annual Capital Rugby schools tag festival supported by Black Horse will be held at Cardiff Arms Park next week on Tuesday and Wednesday May 10th & 11th with pupils from almost 60 junior schools from Cardiff and the Vale taking part.
Development Officer John Huw Williams said,
We sent invitations out to schools across Cardiff and the Vale some weeks ago and have once again had a fantastic response.
Pupils, teachers and coaches alike are looking forward to the event with great anticipation. The chance for the children to play on the Arms Park pitch is always a popular one and what better opportunity to bring all the pupils we have coached this year together for a real festival of rugby. Our sponsors Black Horse will once again provide the support and assistance for the event.
With the final touches to a hectic summer schedule being made for each development officer, the end of the rugby season does not mean the end of the scheme for the year. Indeed the Schools Tag Festival is a great showcasee for the talents of the young players and a fine way to start a summer of rugby activity.
