Scrum-half Ryan Powell has passed a late fitness test on his bruised ribs and plays for the Blues tomorrow against Gloucester in the Heineken Cup.
He is one of two newcomers to the starting line-up from the side that narrowly lost 19-23 at Kingsholm last weekend. The other change sees Martin Jones play at tight-head with Gethin Jenkins moving across the front row into the number one shirt.
Nick Walne is unfit so his place on the bench is taken by Dean Dewdney.
