An extra pre-season fixture has been arranged at Cardiff Arms Park with the visit of Rotherham next week.
The Yorkshire club will play a Cardiff XV, comprising a combination of regional and club players, on Saturday 21 August, kick-off 2.30pm.
Entry to the match will be free of charge, apart from the use of turnstiles as a safety precaution.
Commercial manager Tina Tew said, "We are not charging for entry because we want this to be a family day out with the atraction of Saturday afternoon sport in a relaxed setting".
Further details will be announced early next week regarding the players available for selection for the Cardiff XV.
