The draw for the Second round of the Redrow Homes Blues Cup was made this week at the Cardiff Blues training base at the Vale of Glamorgan.
The second round fixtures are scheduled to be played in a two-week window between November 22 and December 13.
U12s Blues Cup Draw
There were some excellent wins in the first round of the U12s competition including away wins for Rumney and Pentyrch. After a tight win over Cowbridge at home, Merthyr are drawn away to Pontyclun.
Draw: Dinas Powys v Pontypridd; CRICC v Gwernyfed; Ystrad Rhonnda v Llanishen; Pentyrch v Rumney; Pontyclun v Merthyr; Llantwit Fardre v Llantwit Major; Brecon v St Peters.
Bye: Builth Wells.
U13s Blues Cup Draw
The pick of the games from the first round saw Dowlais win away at Llanishen 19-24. Following that win they have been drawn away to Abercwmboi in an all Valleys contest. Some other notable games see local rivals Aberdare play Abercynon and Rhiwbina facing St Peters.
Draw: Rhuwbina v St Peters; Rumney v Penarth; Llandaff North v Pontypridd; Aberdare v Abercynon; Abercwmboi v Dowlais; CRICC v Pentyrch; Llandaff v Cefn Coed; Llantwit Fardre v Pontyclun.
U14s Blues Cup Draw
The Under-14s competition is becoming one of the most competitive age groups with teams competing hard right throughout the first round draw. Llandaff had an excellent home win over a battling Cefn Coed side 31-26 while Brecon made the long trip to Penarth and came away with a 14-0 victory. The U14 cup sees a repeat of a fixture in the U13 draw with Abercynon hosting local rivals Aberdare.
Draw: Llandaff v Rumney; Cowbridge v CRICC; Abercynon v Aberdare; Beddau v Pentyrch; Pontypridd v Ystrad Rhondda; Gwernyfed v Brecon; Builth Wells v Treorchy; St Peters v Llanishen.
