The Guinness PRO14 Ultimate XV is quickly filling up, and it’s time to put your vote in for the man that will wear number 13, with two Cardiff Blues fan favourites in the running.
First up Super Rugby winner and All Blacks international Casey Laulala, who arrived at the Welsh capital during the 2009/10 campaign.
The classy centre immediately set-up an effective midfield partnership with Jamie Roberts, with Cardiff Blues lifting the Amlin Challenge Cup at the end of his first campaign.
Laulala' strengths included his handling skills and his ability to beat defenders, and he went on to enjoy stints with Munster and Racing 92.
What sets Laulala apart from the other competitors on the shortlist is the fact that he was included in three Guinness PRO14 dream teams - in 2010/11, 2011/12 and 2013/14.
Rey Lee-Lo is also in the running and it's safe to say that he has been an instrumental member of the backline since arriving at the Arms Park in 2015.
The Samoan international has established himself as one of Europe’s best outside centres and is a dangerous attacker and a solid defender. Lee-Lo, who passed a century of appearances earlier this season, was named Player of the Season in 2017 and featured in the Guinness PRO14 Dream Team last season.
Every vote counts, and with the likes of Brian O'Driscoll, Regan King, Nick Grigg and Bundee Aki also in the running, it's set to be a tight one! Make sure you vote for your Cardiff Blues heroes by heading over to http://doo.vote/pro14ultimatexv
