Wales Under 20s Coach Dai Rees said: "The win and performance against Scotland has given some momentum to our Six Nations campaign.
But we will have to show improvement against France who will be a very tough challenge.
"France have not yet changed to an Under 20 set-up so their side will be more experienced but we are well aware of the situation and we will deal with that.
We are still looking at various combinations within this squad. James Lewis has experience on the wing at Under 19 level so I wanted to try out that option."
