International back row forward Nathan Budgett has signed for Cardiff Blues.
Budgett, who is 28 years-old and stands at 6'5", played 12 times for Wales between 2000 and 2002 and toured Japan with the national side in 2001.
After beginning his senior rugby at UWIC, he played for Ebbw Vale and Bridgend before joining the Celtic Warriors.
Confirming this latest Blues' signing this afternoon, chief executive Robert Norster said,
"Nathan is another invaluable addition to our pack and our squad. He is equally adept at flanker and number 8 and with his height and weight he provides another option in the lock position."
