Wales’ squad member Craig Morgan returns to the Blues’ line-up for Saturday evening’s Celtic League fixture against Connacht at Dubarry Park, Athlone (7.00pm)
The wing is fit again after damaging a shoulder while training with the Six Nations’ squad. His return is a timely one as Jonny Vaughton, who has scored three tries in his two senior outings in the last fortnight, has picked up a slight ankle strain during the week. He is expected to be fit to play again next weekend.
A second change in the Blues’ team sees Robin Sowden-Taylor start at flanker. With Craig Quinnell slightly under the weather with a stomach bug Heino Senekal continues in the lock engine-room alongside skipper Andy Moore.
Meanwhile the Cardiff Premier Division team to play Ebbw Vale at the Arms Park on Saturday afternoon (2.30 pm) includes Dean Dewdney, fit again after a neck injury has sidelined him since last August.(Details on www.cardiffrfc.co.uk)
