Cardiff Blues travel to the Scottish capital to continue their Guinness PRO14 campaign as they take on Conference B leaders, Edinburgh.
John Mulvihill’s side head to BT Murrayfield on the back of a bonus point win over Benetton Rugby, and will be targeting a fifth consecutive victory in Edinburgh.
However, the hosts are flying high ahead of the encounter, sitting top of the pile after four consecutive victories, and they’ve maintained a 100 per cent record at home in the Championship this season.

From the Vault: Edinburgh 17 Cardiff Blues 19 (2018/19)
As Wales secured a famous victory over England in Cardiff, with Josh Adams crossing the whitewash on a memorable night for Warren Gatland, Cardiff Blues were up in the Scottish capital, ready to take on high-flying Edinburgh.
The hosts flew out of the starting blocks, with tries from Nathan Fowles and Viliame Mata giving Richard Cockerill’s side a 14-point lead at half time.
The boot of Jaco van der Walt edged them further ahead in the opening stages of the second half, making it 17 unanswered points for the Scottish outfit.
However, the visitors showed their spirit to fight back into the game, with replacement, and former Edinburgh wing, Jason Harries playing a blinder off the bench at BT Murrayfield.
A Harries break set up Lloyd Williams for his side’s opening try of the evening, before the Wales Sevens international added a brace of his own to cap off a memorable night at Auld Reekie.
Head-to-Head: Duhan van der Merwe v Aled Summerhill
Aled Summerhill returns to the wing this week after being on the sidelines with a hamstring injury he suffered in the Challenge Cup win over Calvisano in January.
The wing was man of the match in the win at BT Murrayfield last season, and his 25 tries in 60 Cardiff Blues appearances – including five this campaign – highlights his threat as a finisher in the backline.
Powerful wing Duhan van der Merwe has been a hit since joining Edinburgh from Montpellier in 2017.
The South African has become one of the Guinness PRO14’s leading wings thanks to a deadly combination of power and pace, crossing for 31 tries in 56 appearances for the Scottish outfit.
