Lee-Lo starts in Samoa World Cup opener

Cardiff Blues' Rey Lee-Lo has been named in the starting line-up as Samoa kick off their Rugby World Cup campaign against Russia on Tuesday (KO 11.15am)

The 33-year-old, who will win his 26th international cap, has been named at outside centre for the Kumagaya City clash, and is partnered in midfield by the inexperienced Henry Taefu.

Former Cardiff Blues lock, Filo Paulo, and Tim Nanai Williams, brother of Wales' Capital Region's number eight, Nick Williams, also line-up in the starting XV.

Meanwhile, former Blues stars, Cam Dolan and Blaine Scully, feature in USA's starting line-up for their opening encounter against England at Kobe City on Thursday, and Campese Ma'afu in named on the bench for Fiji's clash against Uruguay on Wednesday.

Canada, whose coaching team include Cardiff Blues academy manager Gruff Rees, get their tournament underway against Italy on Thursday.
