Lewis Jones will captain Cardiff Blues Premiership Select as they return to Sardis Road for Saturday’s British and Irish Cup clash against Doncaster Knights.
Justin Burnell has made seven changes to the side that lost 70-12 at Castle Park last week, and the head coach has been boosted with members of the Cardiff Blues senior squad, including scrum half Jones and forwards Sion Bennett, Ethan Lewis and Dillon Lewis.
Three changes are made to the backline, including skipper Jones, who is named in the number nine jersey in place of Dane Blacker.
Other changes sees Ben Thomas introduced at inside centre and Kyle Evans named on the wing, replacing Max Llewellyn and James Beal respectively.
Cardiff Blues’ Lewis duo, Ethan and Dillon, bolster the front row, alongside Rhys Carre who retains his place in the side.
Callum Bradbury replaces Josh Hawkins at lock, while Sion Bennett is named at number eight.
Cardiff Blues academy members Alun Lawrence, Iestyn Harris and Dafydd Smith are named amongst the replacements.
