This April, Welsh rugby fans will come together at Principality Stadium to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Judgement Day – JDX 2025.

The iconic double-header event, the longest running professional club event in Wales which showcases the best of Welsh professional club  rugby returns to Principality Stadium as the Ospreys face Cardiff and the Dragons take on the Scarlets in back-to-back, high-stakes matchups on Saturday 19th April.

The announcement comes off the back of a series of close and competitive clashes over the festive season. It’s an opportunity for Welsh rugby fans to unite as one, and get behind their team in a season where every point counts.

A day of electrifying rugby, unmissable entertainment, and family fun awaits—don’t miss your chance to be part of this historic milestone!

WRU CEO Abi Tierney said: “Judgement Day is a cornerstone of Welsh rugby, and celebrating its 10th year is a momentous occasion. It’s a testament to the passion of our supporters and the pride in our professional club teams. Principality Stadium will once again provide an electric atmosphere, and we can’t wait to welcome fans of all ages to revel in this unforgettable day of rugby”

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday 22nd January from 10am. Season ticket holders will be contacted by their clubs on how to secure their tickets. A limited availability Early Bird offer in which the first 5,000 seats in the lower tier can be purchased at £10, represents amazing value to watch two fixtures on one ticket.

At each match the playing teams will also offer, as part of a joint initiative, the opportunity for junior teams to become flag bearers around the pitch where they will parade and support the teams as they enter the stadium bowl. All children who take part will be offered a complimentary ticket, with their parents, guardians and coaches having a right to buy, they can proudly watch their junior teams represent their clubs at the home of Welsh rugby.

Head Coach for the Ospreys, Mark Jones, said, “Judgement Day is always a highlight of the Welsh rugby calendar. It’s a great spectacle that brings together fans from all corners of Wales, creating an unparallelled mixture of pride for the club badge and rivalry. We’re all looking forward to what should be another tightly contested fixture against Cardiff this year.”

Filo Tiatia, Interim Head Coach at Dragons, said, “Judgement Day has become a special day for all of Welsh rugby as all four teams and supporters come together as one in the capital. We’re looking forward to being a part of the tenth JD event to take place at Principality Stadium and the challenge of facing Scarlets.”
