Find of the season, Tom James, has been voted the Principality Building Societys Premiership Player of the Month for October.
The 19-year-old former Rhymney (Gwent) Comprehensive School student has hit the headlines since giving up a promising future as an 800 and 1500 metres runner to concentrate on rugby.
Having played for Merthyr in the second half of last season he joined the Blue & Blacks in July 2006 and has regularly hit the headlines.
Having been voted Player of thee Tournament at the Selkirk Sevens in August and then scoring a try on his full debut in the pre-season friendly against Bridgwater & Albion, he has played at centre or wing in every one of Cardiffs nine Principality Premiership fixtures to date. His 11 tries in the competition include hat-tricks against Aberavon and Cross Keys and another touchdown followed in his regional debut as a replacement for Cardiff Blues against Edinburgh Rugby last week.
Having already been called up to the Wales under-20 squad, James now receives the considerable accolade of Player of the Month from the Premierships sponsors, the Principality Building Society.
