The region announced earlier this year that club captain Matthew Rees was to have an enforced spell away from rugby as he undergoes medical treatment at Velindre.
The region has been selling ‘Smile For You Captain’ wristbands to help raise funds and awareness for Velindre. And now the players and staff have proven they are a cut above the rest with a very visible show of support!
The region set a fundraising target earlier this month of £10,000 for Velindre – and when that was smashed the Blues did the rest as they let staff from Andrew Cox Barbering in Radyr loose on their hair!
