Cardiff Blues has today issued a medical update over the fitness of Alex Cuthbert, Cory Allen and Ellis Jenkins.
Wing Alex Cuthbert has undergone successful minor surgery on a finger injury sustained to his right hand.
The region can confirm the Wales international will miss Judgement Day III at the Millennium Stadium this Saturday and will be assessed over a possible playing return before the end of the season.
Centre Cory Allen has undergone shoulder reconstruction surgery following an injury sustained against Ulster Rugby in March.
The operation was a success and Allen has now commenced a period of rehabilitation with the region and in consultation with the WRU.
The Wales international is expected to be ruled out of action for a period of 3 to 4 months and scheduled to return to action at the start of next season.
Back row Ellis Jenkins has also recently undergone shoulder surgery and is expected to be sidelined for a period of 3 to 4 months.
Jenkins will also make a return to action at the start of the 2015/16 season.
