Saul Hurley will make his first appearance of the age grade season as Cardiff U18 welcome Ospreys to the Arms Park on Wednesday (KO 7.30pm).
The young Blue and Blacks side have maintained a 100 per cent start to their campaign, which included last week’s gritty win over Dragons at Ystrad Mynach.
However, Chadd Mutyambizi has made a number of changes to the side for the first of two back-to-back home fixtures, which will now kick off at 7.30pm at the capital
Hooker Hurley, who captained Cardiff and Vale College to Schools & Colleges League success, joins Max Bignell and Owain James in the front row.
Joe Tucker comes in to partner Dylan McDonald in the second row, while there is a further change in the back row. Evan Rees takes over the number eight jersey, as Jaden Wilkins and captain Harry Beddall retain their places on the flanks.
Sion Davies is reunited with Harri Wilde at half back, with Ethan Rudyj and Elijah Evans pairing up in midfield. Full back Kodie Stone, who departed during the first half at Ystrad Mynach with a hand injury, is replaced by Matty Young in an otherwise unchanged back three division.
