Cardiff Rugby have bolstered their backline with the signing of Bath Rugby’s Louie Hennessey on a short-term loan. 

The 20-year-old centre, who originally came through the club’s pathway, arrived back at the Arms Park today. 

Hennessey joined Bath’s Senior Academy in 2022, having progressed through the Cardiff Schools and Cardiff Rugby system while studying at Hartpury College. He made his senior debut for the Blue, Black and White in September 2022 and recently signed a long-term contract extension with Bath. 

Hennessey will now provide temporary cover for Cardiff over the festive period.
