Future Blues & Sport. Cardiff Development Officer Chris Ower commented, Hopefully more of these girls involved from the schools here today will now try to feed into their local girls teams in Cardiff and throughout the region, as I believe that there are some really talented players in the schools that should be playing more regularly. Its been a great tournament and a great advert for girls rugby in Wales.
Nicola Smith, WWRU community rugby manager commented It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and the level of skills the girls showed throughout was really impressive. I hope that many of them have now caught the rugby bug and continue to play for one of the girls club teams in Wales. I would like to thank all the rugby development officers, community coaches, teachers and volunteers for their hard work over the past few months.
