The Cardiff Blues Community Foundation have launched a new fun-for-all programme for the New Year, helping supporters of all ages to get ‘Family Fit’.
Family Fit gives parents and their children the opportunity to get active, with children developing their rugby skills with the Cardiff Blues rugby officers, whilst adults can kick start their New Year’s resolutions with fun and exciting workouts.
Community Foundation director, Nadine Griffiths, said: “This is an exciting new programme we are launching as part of our aim to encourage healthier and more active people of all ages in our community.
“We hope that family fit will encourage families to adopt a health and active lifestyle together whilst having fun.”
The sessions will run for six weeks – from January 7 to February 11 – on Monday evenings (18.30 – 19.30) at the Cardiff Arms Park.
The sessions will look to promote healthy living for the family, with children taking part in rugby skills masterclass sessions whilst parents are taking part in fun and exciting circuit training.
Family Fit is an inclusive session where everybody – no matter the age or ability – can be active with the emphasis on enjoyment and fun.
The sessions are priced at £10 per session (parent and child) or a special offer of only £50 for all six weeks.
