The Blues have reached the quarter finals in the last two years and are urging supporters to get behind the team as they face the Sharks in this must win match to be played at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday 16 January, 3.45pm kick off.

Sale Sharks are currently second in the group behind leaders Toulouse, while the Blues will aim to overtake them if they win the crunch match.

Speaking ahead of the match Cardiff Blues Director of Rugby, David Young said.

“This is a huge match for the region as we aim to reach the quarter finals for the third consecutive year.”

“We were bitterly disappointed to lose up in Sale in October, when a few harsh decisions cost us the match, but we will be looking to make up for it with a big performance against the Sharks on Saturday.”

“Hopefully a big crowd will turn up to get behind the players. The fans have been superb all season and we’re urging them to help lift the players in what is a make or break match for us.”

Tickets for the match are on sale now with under 16’s being able to watch the crucial match from only £5. Family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) are available costing just £40 in the Family Stand.

Reserved seating tickets are priced at only £25 while unreserved seating tickets cost just £20.
