Cardiff’s final home game of the 2021/22 campaign against Zebre will take place on Friday, May 6, after United Rugby Championship confirmed the rescheduling of the Round 12 fixture.
The clash, which was originally scheduled for February but postponed due to severe weather conditions, will be played under the Friday Night Lights of the capital, kicking off at 7.35pm.
After the completion of rescheduling the outstanding fixtures, URC Tournament Director, David Jordan, said: “In total we have had to reschedule 25 fixtures due to disruption from the pandemic, bad weather and stadium availability issues so we are very pleased to have finalised these games.
“It has been particularly challenging for our teams, players and broadcast partners to cope with rescheduling of so many games, but we are grateful for all of stakeholders who faced these circumstances with a solution-first approach. Fans can now enjoy the remaining games as we build up to the first-ever United Rugby Championship Play-Offs.”
Tickets will be available on the Cardiff Rugby website in due course.
