The Samoan lock is likely to feature for Cardiff Blues as they take on Benetton Treviso this Saturday in Italy
Speaking at the Vale Resort training centre Paulo said,
“I’m glad to be here.
“The team culture is strong and the players are very welcoming and the coaches know what they are doing, so it’s all going well.
“The rugby up here in the northern hemisphere is very physical and I like playing that type of game .
“Hopefully I’ll also have a chance to show my skills and we can finish the year on a high.
“From my stint in Ulster I knew Cardiff Blues were a big club and it’s a good league.
Speaking of facing Treviso, Filo Paulo added,
“I’m sure it will be very tough but I’m looking forward to it.
“I watched the Wales match on Saturday and it was good to see them throw the ball around and to see them smash England was great.
“I wasn’t surprised. Wales are a good side I knew they had that kind of performance in them. Italy also won and I’m sure the Treviso players will be looking forward to the match.
“Hopefully I will be involved in the Welsh derby match and play again in the Millennium Stadium next weekend so I’m looking forward to that also”
