Ellis Jenkins has been named the Welsh Rugby Writers young player of the year award.
The Cardiff Blues flanker, a former Wales Under-20s captain, has made 20 appearances this season and is in the running for a place on the Wales senior tour to New Zealand this summer.
He beat fellow Cardiff Blues young gun Dillon Lewis, Ospreys Owen Watkin and Sam Davies plus the Dragons’ Harrison Keddie to the gong.
Wales and Dragons number eight Taulupe Faletau scooped the top award as player of the year.
