Following the summer development programme, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan Junior association held trials for a place in the Centre of Excellence and be able to play for District B at Under 12s,13s and 14s.
On the morning to the Under 13s trial we had a visit from the Minister for Health and Social Service Jane Hutt AM.
Jane Hutt AM said,
"Congratulations to all the young people, their trainers and the Sports Development Department of the Vale Council for this great rugby project over the summer holidays. It was good to meet with them all."
For all those boys that didnt make the centre of excellence still have another chance of being selected at the centre of developments, this centre will be run on the same night as the District Squad having exactly the same training. This will give us the chance to rectify any errors made during selection.
