Alex Cuthbert's powerful solo effort against Bath Rugby has claimed Cardiff Blues' Try of the Month for December.
A crucial try in the 28-3 European Challenge Cup win over Todd Blackadder’s men, Cuthbert shrugged off tackles from three defenders, including England international Semesa Rokoduguni, to drive over the whitewash.
The results were tight, following almost 500 votes, with Cuthbert’s try claiming 29% of the vote, while Matthew Morgan’s effort in the same game was right behind on 27%.
Other tries on the shortlist were Steven Shingler’s playmaking skills to set-up Josh Navidi against Dragons on Boxing Day and another of Cuthbert’s scores, against Ulster, where he was set-up brilliantly by Nicky Robinson.
