With the Blues South under 16s defeating Blues North and the Scarlets upsetting holders the Ospreys last time out, the race for a place in the WRU Reebok Regional Championship final is really warming up.

Therefore, tonight's (Wednesday 9 January) games between the North and the Ospreys at Abercynon and the Dragons and Blues South at Virginia Park, Caerphilly, have taken on ever greater interest.
Whilst the Dragons appear to be out of the hunt - they have yet to register a victory this term - the other four regional sides all have a chance of making it through to next month's final at Sardis Road.
Victory for the North would certainly put them in poll position, but if the Ospreys can secure a valuable away win at Abercynon, they would take over as favourites to win the pool.
