Details for Cardiff Blues’ final two Challenge Cup pool stage fixtures have been confirmed.

Danny Wilson’s side are set to take on two Top 14 giants as they look to secure their place in the knockout stages for the second consecutive year.

The Blues currently sit four points clear on top of Pool 2, having sealed three wins the the opening four rounds of games.

Cardiff Blues will welcome Toulouse to the Welsh capital for a mouthwatering encounter on Sunday, January 14 (KO 5.30pm).

The clash will be the latest episode in a long line of classic fixtures against the two historic sides, dating back to Cardiff RFC’s loss to the French outfit in the inaugural Heineken Cup final in 1996.

Last time out, Cardiff Blues came out on top at Stade Ernest Wallon, as tries from Nick Williams and Macauley Cook sealed a 15-17 win in the South of France.

The final round of games sees Wilson’s side travel to take on Lyon, who currently sit third in the domestic league, on Saturday, January 20 (KO 6.00pm local time).

Tickets for the home clash against Toulouse at Cardiff Arms Park are on sale now, and can be purchased for £10 for those who also buy a ticket for the New Year’s Eve clash against Scarlets.
