The Pontypridd squad has been engaged in an intense recovery programme during training this week, in readiness for their crunch Konica Minolta Welsh Cup semi final tie against Cardiff tonight (Friday 21st April).
The game will be played at the neutral venue of Rodney Parade, Newport (kick off 7:10 pm). Tickets will be available from the venue up until kick off.
Cardiff Coach Howard Stone is expecting to name Nick Macleod and Mark Lewis in the 22-man squad for the game.
Stone said, Matches against Pontypridd are always tough encounters and with this being a semi-final it will be doubly so. We have done well in recent games, winning seven out of nine Premiership and cup matches, and want to continue our successful end to the season, It wont be easy but this squad has come a long way of the course of the campaign and I think they still have more wins up their sleeve.
