Cardiff will welcome Munster to the Arms Park on the opening weekend of the 2022/23 United Rugby Championship.
With only 50 days to go until the new campaign kicks off, the URC have confirmed the fixture schedule for the entire season ahead, with the Blue and Blacks starting their campaign in front of home supporters.
The opening three weekends will also see Dai Young’s men travelling to Glasgow before hosting Emirates Lions at the Welsh capital for the first time.
The first Welsh derby of the season comes in round four, where Cardiff travel to Llanelli, while the first home derby will take place in October, with Dragons RFC visiting the Arms Park.
A trip to Newport to take on Dragons RFC awaits the Blue and Blacks on Boxing Day this year, but the encounter is followed by back-to-back home derbies against Ospreys and Scarlets respectively.
The final home game of the season falls in round 15 – held on the weekend of March 3 – with Ulster the opposition, before a trio of away fixtures against Zebre, Connacht and Ospreys to close out the season.
