First Team News | 3rd July 2024

Cardiff Rugby will host Bath Rugby on Friday, 6th September as part of the club’s preparations ahead of the 2024-25 season.

The game is scheduled for a 7.15pm kick off at the Arms Park.

Bath will provide a good test for Matt Sherratt’s side, having made it to the final of the Gallagher Premiership last season and defeated the Blue and Blacks in a thrilling Investec Champions Cup game in December.

It will also give Season Members and supporters potentially a first glimpse of Cardiff’s new recruits, including Callum Sheedy, Ed Byrne and Dan Thomas.

Head coach Matt Sherratt, said: “We’re delighted to be able to confirm a high-quality preseason fixtures against Bath at the Arms Park.

“They’re obviously a quality team who are in form having made the most recent Premiership final, and will provide our young squad with a stern test, which will only help us ahead of the start of the new season.

“It will also allow us to bed our new players into the side and try out some different combinations.”

Cardiff versus Bath is part of 2024/25 Season Membership packages, which can still be purchased HERE at the Early Bird price until midnight on Thursday, 4th July.

Further details, including how to purchase tickets and prices for the fixture, will be announced in due course.
