Official Bar Partner Rekom Group UK have renewed their support of the Blue & Blacks with a new two-year extension.

The owners of popular city centre venues Proud Mary and Heidi’s Bier Bar have extended their deal with Cardiff Rugby and will also feature on the jersey of Cardiff RFC.

And Jason Harries, who will now combine his role in the Arms Park commercial team with playing duties for Cardiff RFC, believes it is the perfect partnership to enhance match-day experience.

He said: “We are really pleased to extend our partnership with Rekom Group UK. Proud Mary and Heidi’s are two hugely popular bars in the city centre, which add value to match-day experience, whether before or after coming to the Arms Park.

“They have been brilliant to work with so far and offer something different and bespoke to supporters, sponsors, and staff alike. We are all really looking forward to further strengthening this partnership.”

The partnership was initially struck in 2022, and Rekom will continue to offer supporters exclusive discounts, ticket offers and a central point to soak up and enjoy the match-day atmosphere beyond the Arms Park. Both Proud Mary and Heidi’s have also been successfully utilised for staff and sponsor events.

As part of the new deal, Rekom also become a on kit partner of Cardiff RFC, who kick off their Indigo Group Welsh Premiership season against Pontypridd on Saturday.

Ben Browne, Senior Venue Manager at Heidis & Proud Mary Cardiff added: “We are delighted to be sponsoring Cardiff Rugby for the second year running. Both Proud Mary and Heidi’s are extremely popular with sports enthusiasts, so being able to support local teams means a lot to us. That is why we have also extended our sponsorship to include the Cardiff RFC team for the first time.

“This is a big year for rugby with the world cup, so we are very excited to welcome fans and players to Heidi’s and Proud Mary to catch all the national, URC and Champions Cup games on our big and small screens. Come on Wales and Cardiff!”
