Cardiff Rugby have made four changes for their Judgement Day clash with the Ospreys at the Principality Stadium on Saturday (3pm).

Three of the changes come in the pack with Corey Domachowski recalled to the starting line-up to reform a familiar Rhondda front-row with club captain Liam Belcher and Keiron Assiratti.

With Josh McNally unavailable due to his RAF commitments, Ben Donnell starts alongside Teddy Williams in the second-row, while Alex Mann comes into an otherwise unchanged back-row.

Behind the pack, Rey Lee-Lo misses out due to the knock he suffered in Galway two weeks ago, which sees Harri Millard move into the centre and Gabriel Hamer-Webb named on the wing.

With Cardiff, Ospreys and Scarlets all in the race for the BKT United Rugby Championship top eight, there is plenty to play for at the showpiece event.

A victory over the Ospreys, who were held to a draw at the Arms Park at the start of the year, would see the Blue & Blacks secure the Welsh Shield and strengthen their chances of a play-off spot.

Head coach Matt Sherratt said: “Judgement Day is always a great occasion. The Principality is the home of rugby in Wales and you have four Welsh teams, stacked with Welsh talent playing in one day.

“There’s an extra bit of spice this year because the league table is so tight. Ourselves, Ospreys and Scarlets are right in the fight for the top eight.

“We know each other pretty well and as with all derbies, it will be a one off occasion. But they are a quality team, who have added to their game through the season and have enjoyed some good form in recent weeks, so it will be a big challenge but it is one we are excited for.

“We have a great end to the season, which kicks off at the best stadium in rugby, against our local rivals, who we are competing with in the league table.

“Then we have Munster at home on a Friday night, and we know when the club needs its supporters, they come out en masse, and we finish the season with a trip to South Africa.

“So there is plenty to play for, the boys are hugely motivated and the target is to take 10 points from the next two games to give us the best possible chance.”

Josh Adams, who announced his new contract with the club this week, makes his 50th appearance for the Blue & Blacks, while Aled Davies returns from injury among the replacements.

He is joined on the bench by Rory Jennings, with Sherratt again opting for a 6-2 split of forwards and backs.
