Wales’ Capital Region kick off their campaign in Italy for the first time since 2014, as they travel to Parma on Friday, October 2 (KO 6.00pm GMT).
The following weekend, in Round Two of Championship action, Cardiff Blues will host Irish outfit Connacht, with the home venue to be confirmed in the coming days.
Following a fallow week, due to the European finals, John Mulvihill side return for the inaugural Monday Night Rugby fixture, as they visit Munster’s Thomond Park on Monday, October 26 (KO 8.15pm).
The clash in Limerick is the first of a series of four Monday evening fixtures for Cardiff Blues, with home encounters against Ulster and Benetton Rugby either side of a trip to Edinburgh.
Wales’ Capital Region visit defending champions Leinster on Sunday November 22 and welcome Glasgow Warriors the following weekend.
Cardiff Blues’ festive derbies will feature an away trip to Newport to take on Dragons, alongside home fixtures against Ospreys and Scarlets, with fixture details to be confirmed.
