There was a fantastic atmosphere at the Arms Park last night for the Cardiff Blues first home match of the season
Despite the result, with the Blues going down 19-21 to Edinburgh, it was an entertaining match and the team performed with a lot of heart and passion.
Speaking after the game, Cardiff Blues Chief Executive Richard Holland said,
“It was great to see so many supporters at the match who played their part in creating a superb atmosphere at the ground and I’d like to thank them all for getting behind the team.
“Our supporters embraced the idea of the Heineken Fanzone but despite all the effort in the weeks leading up to the match, there are still areas we recognize that we can improve on to make our supporters experience an even more enjoyable one.
“We will be having a debrief meeting first thing on Monday morning to go through the list of areas that need improving, with the most pressing issue the need for supporters to be able to be served quickly and efficiently in the bars.
“I can assure all our supporters that this will be done for our next home match against Treviso in a fortnight.”
