On Wednesday night Blues South under 16s will tonight get their chance to move a step closer to the final of the WRU Regional Championship final.
The Ospreys are guaranteed their place in next month’s final, but with a three point gap to close down on the second placed Dragons, the South will need to defeat their closest rivals at Bedwas (7pm).
When the sides met at Rumney RFC back in October, the South came out on top 17-14. A similar result would certainly stand them in good stead, although the Dragons do have a game in hand as the competition reaches its final straight.
The other game sees the Blues North, who are fourth with eight points from six games, take on the Scarlets who are rock bottom with only three points from their half dozen matches.
It was 14-12 to the North when the sides met at Stradey Park five months ago.
