Following the Blues U18 final trial at Cardiff University RFC, Llanrumney coaches Gareth Nicholas, Matthew Silva, and Neil Hennessy, have selected a 40 strong squad to attend training on Monday 2nd July.
Regional Performance Manager Gafyn Cooper said We were pleased with the efforts of the lads during the trial but we realise that we have a lot of hard work ahead if we are to challenge for honours in December.
The Blues kick off their Reebok Championship campaign against Llanelli Scarlets at Narberth RFC on August 29th, but the coaches will have a chance to look at combinations over the coming weeks during training. There are also two warm up games planned for August.
Players should arrive at Whitchurch High School (Upper site) at 5pm for training on Monday 2nd July 2007.
