Having won their first game of the season against neighbours Blues South, the resurgent Blues North under 16s side travel to Stradey Park tonight to meet the Scarlets in the WRU Regional Championship.
And with the Scarlets having lost their opening games this season - against the Dragons and Blues South - the North will fancy their chances of making it two in a row.
Gafyn Cooper regional performance manager for the Blues said, "We are delighted with the way the North have started this season. They found it tough last year, but to have won one of their two games to date is a decent start.
"I hope they can carry on against the Scarlets, but that game represents a difficult test for them, especially away from home."
Meanwhile Blues South will aim to hit back from their defeat against the North when they take on the Dragons at Rumney Rugby Club.
One victory from three games is not what the South might have hoped for, but they have a chance of adding to their 13-8 victory over the Scarlets.
However, the Dragons, fresh from their 13-12 victory over the Ospreys at Newbridge two weeks ago.
